The Mojacar coastline is long with some sandy beaches and is situated between Carboneras and San Juan de los Terreros with many beach and port towns in between. Vera Playa is about 85km from Almeria airport, 135km from San Javier (Murcia airport) and 200km to Alicante airport. Almeria and Alicante airports have a year-round shuttle service and local coach connection. Granada, the Alhambra Palace and the famous Sierra Nevada ski-slopes (end of November to April) are less than three hours away. .
